Le Phunk is a seven-piece danceable acid jazz, funk and R&B band, led by Randall Johnson Chung. Formed in November 1997, the group celebrated its 1st anniversary with the official release of its debut CD-entitled The Phunk Hits the Phans. In 2002, they again celebrated with the release of their second album, Feel It!

While Le Phunk has a substantial repertoire of original material, its live shows consists mainly of well-known classics from the 70s by such artists as Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, James Brown, George Clinton (P-Funk), Sly and the Family Stone and Aretha Franklin. And, if you're a modern day Phunkster, Le Phunk has contemporary vibes to get you up and on your feet from the microphones of the Brand New Heavies, Lauryn Hill and the Weather Report.
